What should we know about The Great Depression?

As you do your searching, make sure you follow these guidelines:
  1. NO WIKIPEDIA, ABOUT.COM OR ASK.COM
  2. Use the websites I have linked for basic information.
  3. Do google searching. Put "The Great Depression" in quotation marks.
  4. Add a + sign and 1930s so you get the information for that year.
  5. Add a + sign and one of these topics: families, hardships, jobs, homelessness, country life, soup kitchens, stock market, President Hoover, President Roosevelt, World War 2, Dust Bowl, city life, banks, etc.

You will need 15 different facts by mid class on Friday.
